This sweet pup is a little unsure in the shelter environment and requires a slow approach when first meeting new friends to help her feel secure. Once she feels safe, she will sweetly approach you on her own for some gentle pets and affection. Pattycake is in search of a loving home that will give her the time and patience she needs to decompress and blossom into the wonderful companion she is meant to be. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our Foster and foster field trip program to give Pattycake a great break from the kennel. My Special Considerations
This sweet girl had severe entropion affecting both eyes. Entropion surgery was performed 6/3, but she still has some eyelid swelling and may need a revision surgery if the eyelid continues to traumatize her (right) eye.
