Meet Diamond, a sweet, young, and active girl who is completely ready to find her loving forever family. Diamond came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and her previous family provided wonderful insight into her personality. They noted that she is easygoing, active, friendly, and a bit clingy in the most endearing way. She successfully lived with toddlers and teenagers as well as another big dog, and she is fully kennel trained. Her past family also shared that she absolutely loves toys, loves people and affection, and already knows several basic commands.
At the shelter, Diamond has proven to be a wonderful potty dog who is very sweet and easy to handle and leash up in her kennel. She is a smart girl who knows some basic commands and absolutely loves treats, which will make continuing her training a lot of fun. Diamond thrives on human connection and loves affection, making her the perfect companion for an active household that has plenty of love to give. If you would like to get to know her better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our Foster and foster field trip program to give Diamond a great break from the kennel. My Special Considerations
Diamond is exhibiting signs of arousal and anxiety in the shelter environment and is having a hard time adapting. Diamond is a fun and silly girl. She loves to play with toys, run around with her friends during playgroup, and learn new things everyday with the behavior team. She is very treat motivated and knows some basic commands like sit, down, and roll over. She is becoming anxious in her kennel and needs out of the shelter to be able to decompress. She is wallrebounding and seeking neighbor attempting to cage fight. She is a energetic sweet lady who would love to go into a nice and comfy home to decompress in. This animal would benefit from an environment with less stimulation and some training to help them cope with over arousing stimuli and anxiety. This animal needs placement by 7/26 at 3 PM.
