My Name Is BOSA!

Bosa is a big, happy-go-lucky guy who’s ready to bring a whole lot of fun and personality to his future home! This estimated 3-year-old neutered male came to the shelter as a stray, and at over 80 pounds, he’s definitely a large, active, strong pup — but underneath all that size is an excitable sweetheart who’s just thrilled to be outside enjoying life.

Once out of his kennel, Bosa lights up. He loves getting fresh air, stretching his legs, and romping around the play yard. Toys are easily one of his favorite things in the world — at one point he proudly carried around TWO toys because he couldn’t decide which one he liked more! He eventually settled down to happily chew on and play with both. Because he gets so excited about toys and fun time, he can get a little jumpy in his enthusiasm.

Bosa already knows how to “sit” on command and will happily sit for treats, especially if snacks are involved. He does pull on leash and would benefit from continued training and guidance, but he’s eager, food-motivated, and seems like a dog who will enjoy learning with his people.

This big boy is looking for a family that will truly include him in their lives — walks, play sessions, enrichment, adventures, and plenty of quality time together. Bosa has a lot of energy, a lot of love, and an even bigger personality just waiting to shine in a home of his own.

My Special Considerations

This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
