My Special Considerations
Dexter is not adapting well in a kennel at the shelter and is exhibiting barrier frustration towards team members and other stimuli. Dexter is barking and jumping while in the kennel. He gets amped up when tools are used. Dexter has shown improvement in a quieter room. Dexter loves cheese and attention. He is a very goofy and smart boy. This dog is working with our training team daily on leash skills, basic obedience, and good manners. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and kenneling. This animal needs placement by 7/30 at 3 PM.
UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 7/26 to 7/30.
