My Name Is BRODIE!

Meet Brodie, a sweet older boy who is ready to find a loving home. Brodie is already neutered and can go home with you right away. He originally came to the shelter as an owner surrender. His previous family shared that he is an active, friendly, and protective companion who lived with teenagers and a small dog.
Brodie is a very smart boy who knows the sit command and appears to have some agility training, as he loves to run obstacle courses. At the shelter, he has proven to be a "potty dog" which means he waits to do his business outside and is likely housebroken. He walks well on a leash and is not reactive to other dogs during his walks at the shelter. While he is playful and athletic, he can be a little nervous in the hustle and bustle of the shelter environment. His previous family also noted that he is afraid of fireworks and will seek comfort by hiding in the bathtub.
Brodie is in search of a home that will give him the time he needs to decompress. If you think you have the perfect home for this sweet boy, please come and meet him. If you feel you need more time to decide, ask the staff about the foster field trip, foster, or foster to adopt programs. These programs are a great way to give Brodie a break from the shelter while giving you both a chance to bond in a home setting.

My Special Considerations

This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
