Hi, my name is OTTO

Otto is a senior gentleman with a heart of gold and a spring in his step! He is easy to leash, but does like to lead when walking. This wise old dog still loves to play, especially when a squeaky toy is involved. He’s a quick learner, knowing commands like sit, stay, and lay down. When he's not burning energy, Otto enjoys the simple pleasure of cooling his paws in the kiddie pool. He's also a "potty dog" at the shelter, which means he will wait to go outside to do his business. Come meet this charming fellow!

My Special Considerations

Otto is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Otto is jumping at the walls in his kennel, his focus can be broken easily. He is a potty dog and walks well on leash although he pulls pretty good when first exiting the kennel due to the excitement. He allows all handling. He has come to playgroup, he can challenging and confident at times but mainly does his own thing. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
