My Special Considerations

*Pluto is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Pluto is becoming very stressed in his kennel, he is constantly demand barking, panting and very restless in his kennel. He is constantly standing and jumping all around his kennel. Pluto is a very sweet boy who allows all handling, loves treats and is a playgroup candidate. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 12/24 by 3pm

*Pluto is showing improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. is doing well with intervention, no stress behaviors or anxiety in his kennel. He walked well on his leash and allowed all handing, The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention.

UPDATE: 12/20/24 09:27 This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. Pluto is stable in kennel. He is approaching and calm. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention.

Being treated for a respiratory infection. Will need medication and isolation from other dogs through at least 12/29/24.
