My Special Considerations

This poor guy arrived at the shelter emaciated. He is being treated for diarrhea (negative parvo test), and we're hoping he just needs a little time and a good diet to recover. Despite a great appetite his weight has not improved. He has now also developed a respiratory infection and pneumonia. We performed radiographs and bloodwork. The radiograph report is pending at this time, but his bloodwork showed moderate anemia. We have started treatment for his respiratory infection and will continue to monitor his condition. He would benefit from continued care at a full service veterinary hospital.
