This clinic is designed to remove barriers to care and ensure more dogs and cats stay healthy\, safe\, and home where they belong. \nThe clinic will take place on Saturday\, January 31\, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spirit Mountain Activity Center\, 1975 Arie Dr\, Laughlin\, NV. \nNevada residents are invited to bring their pets to receive free rabies\, HCP\, and DAPPv vaccines\, as well as microchips. Proof of Nevada residency will be required\, and addresses will be verified at registration. \nThis is an appointment-only clinic\, and registration is required. Some are waiting for their first home ever. Others are looking for a fresh start after a tough chapter. But every one of them is hoping to meet their person. \n🍀 Meet adoptable dogs\, cats\, and other small animals\n🍀 Adoption fees are waived for this special event\n🍀 Every adoption includes spay/neuter surgery\, vaccines\, and a microchip\n🍀 Leave with a new best friend and a little extra luck on your side \nYou don’t need a four-leaf clover to find your lucky charm — you just need to stop by. \nCome meet the animals waiting for their forever homes and see if your lucky charm is waiting for you. \nHow the Adoption Process Works\n 🐾 Visit our adoption search page before coming to the shelter to browse adoptable pets.\n 🐾 Use the QR code on our adoption lobby door to join the virtual waitlist. The waitlist opens at 8:00 am.\n 🐾 Please make sure to return by 11 am when the doors open.\n 🐾 Depending on the volume of patrons each day\, adoption services may close before 7 PM once our capacity is reached. DESCRIPTION:Every year\, Best in Show puts 20+ of The Animal Foundation’s most adoptable dogs in the spotlight—not just to find them loving homes\, but to showcase the incredible diversity of breeds that come through our doors. While many assume we only have a few breeds at the shelter\, the reality is that thousands of dogs of all breeds\, sizes\, and personalities come through our doors each year. \nBut this event is about more than just the dogs walking the teal carpet. As our biggest fundraiser\, Best in Show helps us care for the other 20\,000+ animals who need us—providing lifesaving medical treatment for sick and injured pets\, extra time for long-stay dogs\, and second chances for those who need them most. Only 0.001% of our dogs are selected to compete\, but 100% of the proceeds make a difference. \nJoin us for a day of heartwarming adoptions\, inspiring stories\, and a celebration of the incredible dogs waiting for their forever homes. Only one dog will be crowned Best in Show\, but all the participants will be available for adoption during the event.
