SUMMARY:Scoop the Poop: Adoption Goodie Bags
DESCRIPTION:This October\, The Animal Foundation is partnering with the Regional Flood Control District to help keep our community—and our waterways—clean. \nThroughout the month\, every adopter will receive a free goodie bag with helpful reminders and supplies for picking up after their new pet. Each bag includes: \n\nA pet waste educational flyer\nA poop bag holder and roll of bags\nA “No-No” tennis ball\n\nPicking up after your pet does more than keep sidewalks and parks clean. When pet waste is left behind\, it can be carried by stormwater into our local waterways. A simple scoop can make a difference! \nSee Why Picking Up Matters \nYour dog may leave it behind\, but that doesn’t mean it stays there. Check out this quick video from the Regional Flood Control District to learn why picking up pet waste is an important part of keeping our community clean.

SUMMARY:Doggy DAYS Out | A Month of Foster Field Trips
DESCRIPTION:Borrow a dog. Make their day.\nDoggy Day Out was such a success\, we’re making it last all month long! Join us for Doggy DAYS Out throughout October. \nFostering doesn’t have to mean a long-term commitment. Stop by The Animal Foundation any day in October to take a shelter dog on a special outing. It’s an easy way to get involved while giving a dog valuable time outside the shelter! \nShelter life can be stressful\, even for the most outgoing dogs. The constant noise\, unfamiliar surroundings\, and lack of one-on-one time can take a toll. A day out gives them a chance to decompress\, explore\, and just be a dog. \nWhether it’s a casual walk\, a trip to Mt.
