SUMMARY:The Foster Field Trip Coffee Break
DESCRIPTION:Every day\, a handful of dogs in our care need a break from the shelter environment more than others. The Foster Field Trip Coffee Break gives those high-priority pups a short\, meaningful outing — and a chance to shine outside the kennel. \nEach day in February\, we’ll select 3–5 dogs for a quick coffee date field trip. These dogs benefit most from getting out into the real world\, where they can relax\, decompress\, and show off their true personalities. \nParticipants will take one dog at a time on a short outing for: \n A coffee stop (yes\, there’s a Puppuccino involved) \n Real-world photos and short videos \n A chance to capture their unique personality outside the shelter \nWe provide everything you need — including a $5 Starbucks gift card\, car protection\, clean-up supplies\, and safety gear — so you can focus on giving a dog a great break and helping us share their story. \nThe content you capture helps us market these dogs more effectively and increases their chances of finding a foster or adoptive home. \nMeet Today’s Coffee Dates \nReady to go?\nStop by the Field Trip Window in our adoptions lobby to start the adventure.

DESCRIPTION:This February\, love is in the air — and it’s wagging its tail. 💕 \nIn honor of the incredible bond between people and pets\, The Animal Foundation is proud to host Veterans & Valentines\, a special adoption event dedicated exclusively to active duty service members and veterans. \nThanks to the generous support of Penn Entertainment Foundation\, adoption fees for all adult animals will be waived for active duty service members and retired veterans during this special event. For this event\, our waitlist opens at 12 pm.\n 🐾 When you arrive\, you may browse the adoption area for a pet\, or if you have an animal in mind\, please note the animal ID#\, and you’ll be able to speak with an adoption counselor.\n 🐾 We do not place holds on pets.\n 🐾 Please do not bring your current pets for introductions—the shelter environment doesn’t provide an accurate picture of how pets will interact at home.\n 🐾 The fee-waived adoptions include spay/neuter surgery\, up-to-date vaccines\, and a microchip.
