No long-term commitment. Just walk in\, take a pet out\, and change their holiday story. \n  \nHow It Works\n❤️ Walk in — no pre-registration needed.\n Stop by our adoption lobby\, and our team will help you pick the perfect short-term companion. If you’re trying to foster a specific dog\, we recommend filling out the foster application ahead of time and emailing foster@animalfoundation.com. \n  \n❤️ Take a dog or cat on a field trip or into foster care.\n You can take them out for a day\, a weekend\, or a week — your choice! \n  \n❤️ Adoption fees waived.\n If you fall in love with your foster pet and want to adopt them\, we’ll waive the adoption fee. \n  \n❤️ Every outing helps.\n You’re not just giving them a break from the shelter — you’re helping them find their forever home faster. \n  \nWhy It Matters\nA shelter can be a stressful place\, especially during the holidays. DESCRIPTION:Fur the Babies is a late-night fundraiser bringing together The Animal Foundation\, Henderson Pride\, and the incredible local drag community for an evening of entertainment\, celebration\, and lifesaving support. The event is organized by Miss Henderson Pride 2025\, Nadia M Louis\, whose passion for both animals and her community inspired this unforgettable night. \nCocktails begin at 9 pm\, followed by a high-energy show at 10 pm featuring drag performers donating their tips to the cause.
