SUMMARY:Adopt or Foster a Dog and Receive a "Pup Protection Pack!"
DESCRIPTION:October 15–31 | Foster or Adopt and Receive a Free “New Pup Protection Pack”!\nThanks to our partnership with the Regional Flood Authority\, we’re keeping tails wagging and Lake Mead clean! \nFrom October 15–31\, anyone who fosters or adopts a dog from The Animal Foundation will receive a free “New Pup Protection Pack” — complete with a beach towel\, dog bowl\, and eco-friendly pet waste supplies. \nThis special pack makes it easy to care for your new dog and care for our community. By cleaning up after your pet\, you’re helping to keep harmful bacteria out of our storm drains and protecting local water sources. \nWhy It Matters\n“When pet waste is left on the ground\, sprinklers and rain can wash bacteria into Lake Mead through our community’s storm drains and flood control system\,” said Michelle French\, Public Information Manager for the Regional Flood Control District. “By teaming up with The Animal Foundation\, we’re helping pet owners keep Lake Mead – and their own neighborhoods – clean from pet waste.” \nThis partnership highlights how simple\, everyday actions—like bagging and tossing pet waste in the trash—can protect the environment and keep our neighborhoods safe and beautiful. \nHow You Can Help\n🐾 Adopt or Foster a Dog: Bring home a new best friend during this special event and receive your free “New Pup Protection Pack.”🐾 Be a Responsible Pet Parent: Always bag and toss pet waste in the trash to keep our waterways clean.
