At the shelter, Hero continues to show what an absolute gem he is. He walks beautifully on the leash, making him a wonderful companion for steady neighborhood strolls. He is a smart boy who knows the "sit" command and has a fun, youthful side—he absolutely loves squeaky toys and will happily chase after them when thrown! Above all else, Hero is a loyal companion who truly loves to be right by his people, soaking up all the companionship you have to offer.
As he transitions back into a home environment, Hero will benefit from a patient family that understands the importance of a dedicated decompression period. This pup is being spotlighted for one reason only, time. They have been overlooked in the shelter for far too long, and would love a break from the shelter environment where they can relax and just be a dog. The longer they stay in the shelter, the higher the risk of them deteriorating behaviorally and/or medically. If you'd like to foster or adopt this pup, please come in to meet them!
