Marcus is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress.
This dog does not appear to be leash trained at this time. They are apprehensive about the leash and may try to avoid it. When on leash, they do not walk consistently and often resist by stopping or refusing to move. With patience and positive reinforcement, they have the potential to improve significantly.
This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
This dog was diagnosed with an infectious respiratory disease and needs to be isolated from other dogs through (4/25) while being treated. Since this dog is contagious to other dogs, they are not eligible for meet and greets but they are still available for adoption and foster!
