My Name Is *CHRIS!
Meet Chris, a mature and sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. This wonderful guy has gone to playgroup at the shelter and was not reactive when another dog passed by the play yard, showing what a good boy he is. Chris really likes affection and loves to hang out in the kiddie pool to cool off on warm days. If you would like to get to know him better outside of the shelter environment, ask staff about our Foster and foster field trip program to give Chris a great break from the kennel. My Special Considerations
*Chris is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Chris is panting, fecal tracking and jumping while in the kennel. Outside of the kennel he walks nicely on leash and enjoys attention from people. This dog is working with our training team daily on leash skills, basic obedience, and good manners. He is also a current playgroup candidate and likes to play softly with other dogs. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
