Adoption Search
Hi, my name is RANGER
Ranger is waiting to meet his new Adventure Buddy!
This handsome, well-rounded pup loves to explore and can be found roaming around in his little white socks, smelling the smells and leaving some of his own! He's a treat motivated boy that knows some basic commands and is receptive to learning new things. Ranger would make an excellent walking, hiking and even TV-watching companion. He loves people and getting affection and listens well to guidance and correction. He's available for foster or adoption today!
My Special Considerations
Ranger is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Ranger is starting to become anxious in his kennel, he is starting to cage fight his neighbor and fecal tracking in his kennel. He walks well on a leash and allows all handling. He does have some sensitivities with his muzzle and will push staffs hand away when being touched. He is a playgroup candidate who prefers female dogs. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
*This patient was diagnosed with an infectious respiratory disease and needs to be isolated from other dogs through 3/27/25 while being treated.
