My Special Considerations

*Craig is exhibiting signs of arousal and anxiety in the shelter environment and is having a hard time adapting. He is anxious and frustrated in his kennel; he is barking, drooling, jumping, and panting. He is a young, intelligent dog who needs exercise and an outlet for his high energy. He can be reactive to other dogs and when he came to playgroup he did not know how to play appropriately. With time and proper introductions, he may do well with other dogs. *Craig is treat motivated, enjoys petting and attention, and is eager to learn. This animal would benefit from an environment with less stimulation and some training to help them cope with over arousing stimuli and anxiety.
