My Special Considerations

This little dog doesn't stand on her feet correctly and is suspected to have an immune-mediated condition. She will need diagnostics including x-rays and, possibly, analysis of her joint fluid to help determine the underlying cause and the next best steps for her. Some of these conditions respond well to treatment, and others progress with time.


9/25 Update: Radiographs and bloodwork available for any interested paw partners. No significant findings on bloodwork. Radiographs show bilateral carpal soft tissue swelling/effusion and left calcaneal tendon thickening consistent with a prior strain. We are managing her pain and starting a course of antibiotics to rule out infectious causes, but should would benefit from evaluation of her joints at a full service clinic.
