Nina was a strikingly beautiful five-month-old pup when she came to The Animal Foundation’s in April, 2011. Beyond her good looks, Nina was a sweet, energetic and charismatic pooch who was waiting for a family to call her own.
Before Nina was even available for adoption, her beautiful features caught the eye of Blaine, whose family was on the lookout for a pet to welcome into their home. Blaine waited for the day that Nina would become available, and when that day came he rushed over to The Animal Foundation with his family to meet her.
The family anxiously waited in the parking lot for the Campus Adoption Center to open so they could run in and grab her on her first day of adoption. After spending some time together in the dog adoption bungalows, they knew it was fate and adopted her that day. Blaine said:
We adopted Nina from The Animal Foundation in May 2011 when she was four months old and she’s still the hyper, overeager puppy she was almost six years ago. She is a husky/pittie mix, and she was the first dog my family had ever adopted from a shelter. Now I’m convinced there’s no better way to find a new best friend. Thank you [to The Animal Foundation] for all of your hard work. You’ve made all of us believers.”
“THANK YOU to Blaine and his family for adopting an animal from The Animal Foundation! We are so happy that Nina found an amazing family, and is doing so well in her forever home!
