Last year The Animal Foundation saved over 20,000 animal lives and this year we are on track to save even more, but we can’t do it without your help.
This year, between now and Giving Tuesday we are asking our supporters to help save more animal lives by filling your cart from our Amazon Wish List.
On it, you will find items ranging from warming pads and safety goggles to dog treats and a microchip scanner. Prices range from under $10 to over $500. You may ask, how do things like safety goggles and dog treats help save lives? The general answer to that question is simple – every item donated is one less purchase we have to make so that our funds can be used for even more expensive items related to our mission. The specific answer can be found in each item’s description. Safety goggles are used by staff and volunteers who clean the animal enclosures, which is essential for animal health. Dog treats are used to help train and reinforce good behaviors so dog are more adoptable.
We chose to make our goal fulfilling our Amazon Wish List this year because we wanted you to know exactly where your donation will be going and how you are directly helping The Animal Foundation. If we reach our goal, you will have helped us raise $8,000! Whether you give a bunny ball ($6.21), a cat bed ($44), or a two-way radio ($179) or any of the many other items on our list, you know not just that you are making a difference – you know how!
And don’t forget, let us know when you have given by posting on our Facebook page. Better yet, post an #unselfie! Also, remember when you give to include a note card with your Amazon Wish List purchases so that we can thank you!
