Now through Giving Day on March 22, 2018, help us reach our goal of $15,000 to launch our ACE Academy for Canine Etiquette program that serves as a lifeline for harder to adopt dogs who need obedience training and socialization skills. Visit our giving page here.
The Academy for Canine Etiquette program (ACE) serves as a lifeline for larger and harder to adopt dogs by giving them the skills they need to be great pets. Each dog in the program will follow the process to pass the 10-step Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test to receive a certification for good manners from the American Kennel Club. These dogs will also participate in the highly-effective Dogs Playing for Life (DPFL) enrichment program to keep them stimulated, healthy and acclimated to other animals and humans. Dogs who are well-socialized, have obedience training and loose-leash walking skills are highly adoptable dogs.
